This trophy requires you to raise all your skill trees to the maximum level. Be careful for his attacks, they can be very quick, strong and can have ridiculous range. Basically you try to unload on him without him killing you. He has two standard soft spots: His mouth and crotch. Be careful for when he rises up again he unleashes an AoE (Area of Effect) attack, so keep your distance or know when to run. If you shoot him enough in this "soft spot", he will fall down and become fully vulnerable, when you should fully unload on him. You should see one of the four sides of its "head" light up bright yellow sometimes. Stay out of sight and focus your aim for its head. If they disappear without you beating them, don't panic. I'll post some general tactics but be aware that even if you don't beat them at the first try, they often stick around long enough for you to prepare for a second (or third) try. There’s 2 bosses in total: Frostbite and Bigmouth. Be aware that these Boss creatures can spawn in both maps so you will have to travel back and forth every now and then to see whether they've spawned. They will be shown as a red circle area on your map. How much trophies remain for online depends on how much you have played with others during your story progression.Īfter you beat the story, Boss creatures can spawn randomly. Step 3: Clean up (remaining) Team-play trophies. Step 2: Clean up any remaining trophies in story mode.

From there on out more maps and difficulties will be unlocked as you play through the story. You won't be able to play with others from the very start but as you complete chapter 8, online easy mode will be unlocked. Take your sweet time to explore/uncover as much as you can, as you will have to come back later to uncover everything you haven’t already!Īlso try to play some Team Games while playing through the story. Please note that the game requires an online connection to play but the game is split into story mode and team-play (online mode) so for practical purposes I will either be talking about "story" or "online". In my experience the cleanup wasn't too bad, It was just a long grind playing all the Team-Play matches. Luckily you'll be unlocking a large part of the above while playing through the game. Last there's the collecting trophies: crafting all gear, all weapons and eating all food. On top of that you'll mostly be navigating blindly so you can only see what you've uncovered when you're back at base camp. Then there's uncovering the entire map, they made this really hard because you have to "uncover" pieces of the map every square meter or so. This requires an immense amount of Kuban (Kuban could be seen as XP), which requires you to play at least an estimated 200-300 successful online matches. To get the plat, you'll be looking at a few long grinds, the longest being maxing out all your talents. There's only trophy you can miss but you can replay that part through chapter select and get it that way. You only have to play through the story once. Now, to get the plat, there are a few nasty trophies you have to grind for. It's not a 10/10 but still an enjoyable play. Apart from the ultra-cheesy storyline and the horrible matchmaking I can say I enjoyed this game. The game does share a lot of its mechanics with MGS 5 of course, for obvious reasons. The game should be approached as a stand-alone game, or maybe a spin-off. It's not a sequel to MGS 5 or any other MGS for that matter.
